Short for the philippiense or parishii parent conjectured, but improbably long in proportion to the flower for any Barbata primary except with sanderianum, and this does not look like a sanderianum cross.
I just got in contact with the person I bought if from. This came from a flask he purchased almost 20 years ago. He has flowered one himself and he said it wasn't as nice as mine. He believes it is philippinense x hookerae. This cross is called Paph Hamana Hooknes.
I hope the identification is correct, but if it is you got a 1 in a million seedling. I'd still like it, and can't help but wonder what might result from a selfing.
