I have been growing it for more than 6 years, from a single growth to a big clump. This clump of monster appears to be happy recently and produces me 2 tall spikes with totally 14 flowers this year. One for 8 and the other for 6. The flowers are larger than normal clones in the market and with clear deep green markings. I will cut the spike next week after taking photos for preserving more nutrient for this monster growing.

Wow!!!! I would love to see the size of the plant, could you post a pic please??
This is the photo I took before. You can see the plant size as compared with other multiflorals

So sad that I am a Hong Konger. I think this monster can be awarded at least AM in AOS.
Camellkc, can you give the measurements of the flower parts? I will check against our AOS award system to compare. Based on the the pics and preliminary guesswork, I would concur that an AM (82 points?) plus a cultural award of CCM is most likely on the table if the plant was seen before our judging system. A close up pic of flowers from all angles will help as well as height of the inforescences and plant size (plus number of growths). It will be a fun project to research and discuss here.

OK, I will furnish you with the details when I go to the garden two or three days later. By the way, are you one of the judges in the AOS?

FWIW - all US AOS judgings have been canceled until at least May 1 as far as I know.

I predict a 'baby orchid boom' in 4-8 months when all the seed pods on our (no shows, no judging) best plants go to the seed-sowing labs... :)

Yes Camellkc, I am an Associate AOS judge in the Toronto judging centre, doing my last year before full accreditation. Luckily I’m a very open minded, research and fact oriented kinda judge, who looks not only at perfection but also at the intrinsic value of the flowers and plant. So I’m approachable and diplomatic in my judging and discussion. I’m a new breed of judge, training from several experienced judges from all over the world. That’s why I was in Japan to judge the GrandPrix Dome orchid show. In fact our Paph judging team sent a blue ribbon plant to win the GrandPrix Champion this year.
