another surprise in my greenhouse; two spikes open on my lowii. I really love the colour in lowii's paddles.

Is your lowii on a K-lite diet? I wonder if that would boost the flower count. I haven't seen where it has been mentioned but it seems Rick is getting higher flower counts with many of his plants.

Oh, love it. :smitten:

I absolutely love lowii. I'll go and have a chat with mine so it speeds up a bit. What's the leafspan/leaf width on it?

Am I the only one absolutely adoring the staminoid on lowii? The pedals are awesome, but it was the staminoid that got me to buy one.

Excellent blooms and a definite show with 2 spikes. Has anyone else noticed better flowering on the K-lite?

No. I have been using 'lowish' K fertiliser for a while at <300ppm total dilution. I have on this trip to the USA purchased K-lite (thanks Ray and Rick)
The flower count is 5/spike. It just needs more spikes!

I cannot say that it's directly connected, but since going to K-lite @ 25 ppm N in RO, adding KelpMax & IGS monthly, (now beginning my 4th year), I am seeing much better flowering of all my plants, from paphs, to Isabella to catts & vandaceous.
