I think I had the common reaction to this one as well, a very long "ooooooooohhhh" followed by a "wow" and a "damn that's nice" then my brain kicked in and said "where can I get one? and hope there's going to be seedlings." Is #2 the clonal name I should look out for? What are the parents?

The official name for this colorform is
Paphiopedilum malipoense forma concolor Braem

published in
Braem, Baker & Baker, The Genus Paphiopedilum: 69 (1998).

It is really bad that only some clones were found and nobody (I thinks so) has tried to start an artificial propagation just now.
