Wow! very nice and so tall! Do you keep this species pretty wet? I have a couple that seem to be doing a little better with more water.

Most are in baskets so they do go through a lot of water. They get a good squirt every day. Also pretty dim light too. Mostly buried in the NW corner of the GH, so the brightest light is late afternoon.

My winter night lows are 59/60 so they haven't been suffering from those low temps.

Low K or not, they seem to be easier to maintain with very low N rates too, as I taper down the feed concentration.

Beautiful, well done!

Envy rears it head

Mastersianum has always been a problem plant. Always just languished for years then perished. I have one left, when I switched to K-Lite Jan 2013, it stopped or slowed its decline. Had a MUCH colder winter in my basement grow room this year, and that doesn't help. Mostly in low 60's, and they do prefer a bit warmer, high 60's and up. But it hasn't died yet, so there is hope. Yeah K-Lite.

Thanks Leo

It's been brutal in the great white north for sure. Are you having day (lights on) temps in the low 60's too? My night lows are around 60, but during the day it generally gets 70+ with even moderate sunshine in my GH.

I got caught with my pants down the other day, and had an hour or two of 98F!!!. I had to scramble and get the ventilator fan turned back on for summer mode:eek:
Two days later back down to nights in the teens and button everything up for winter mode:sob:

Love that flower, Rick! I have quite a group of NBS plants that are fattening up at the base...hope for my first blooms this year.
