The question is: how many roths do you need to have to have so many in flowers at the same time? There would have to be a large number backstage with either no flowers or flowers not yet open.
One cannot really judge anything without context. Where is this coming from? Who is growing them? And how? I asked such questions before and got no answer. Are these even their plants?
I'm a naturally born skeptic. And in this case and the one before that, I need more than pretty flowers to make up my mind. :snore:

Well, the title of this thread is TPS/AQ.....that implies several plants for the award. With the AOS you need 12 plants from the cross of award or near award quality to get an AQ (Award of Quality) which goes to the hybridizer and exhibitor. My guess is that there are many more seedlings existent to be able to get 12 plants in bloom at the same time. That is the advantage of a large commercial grower.

How long have you had them and how long did it take to get them to flowering size? What do you grow them in? What are your plans for the future with these plants?. Lovely flowers are nice to look at but this kind of background information I ask for would be far more useful to me. :)

1) I got them about 3-4 year.
2) the future I can share with good friend or China market.

Lovely flowers!

I read on Dean Hung's site listed this cross as Paph rothschildianum 'International PT 1' x 'Butterfly'.

The Paph roth 'International PT 1' is from 'Rex' x 'Mont Millais' cross and Butterfly is a wild plant.
