That last picture has yang ji underneath it, I saw that, taiwan I beleive is northern hemisphere. I could be wrong but the last picture and 4 up from the bottom look like hybrids.......?

1. When were these plants deflasked? I'm curious about their age.

2. What is the evolutionary advantage to having longer petals? Are these not pollinated by flying insects?
