Paph tranlienianum

Elena, How much bigger is tranlienianum than helenae? Twice? I would like to get tranlienianum but there are so many nice helenae hybrids out there, I think I'm being swayed towards them instead.

IMO tranlienianum is much better than helenae!!!!! And yours Elena is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fair bit bigger. My helenae has two or 3 growths with a couple of starts, the largest growth has a leaf span of about 4 inches and the whole plant is in a 2.5 inch pot.

tranlienianum is not a large plant but I'd say it's a pretty standard size for insigne group Paph.

If you want and I can try and a take comparison picture.

Thanks, Elena, but that's okay. I got a good idea from your description. Now, given the ones I've just brought home, I'm not gonna have a lot of spare space for a tranlienianum.

In the end, I couldn't resist... :drool: While looking around and ordering a couple of things from Popow, I added one of these to my order! I love its petals! And I'm sure I can fit it in somewhere.:rollhappy:
