Paph venustum 'Brain Child' AM/AOS x self is a plant from Fred Clarke at Sunset Valley Orchids. Purchased in Oct 2011 in low bud.

Plant has a leave spread of 9 inches.

The flower has a ns of 4 inches.

Nice flower. That is one flower that Donna never really cared for, but I think it's beautiful.

The petals have folded back a little, starting with the 'twist'.

Yea, they usually fold back after a few days unless they are really awardable plants.

This year's flower - also with a ns of 4 inches - 10 cm. Again, this is a selfing of Paph venustum 'Brain Child' from Sunset valley Orchids.
