We grow this species in the coolest part of our greenhouse, where the night temps in winter can get down to the low 50's F. In summer, we position the plant as close as possible to the evaporative cooler outlet. This summer, however, the night temps even with the cooler running didn't get below 78F , but it didn't seem to effect this blooming.
It's an adult plant with 6 growths, although only one is in flower. The average leaf span of all the growths is 14 inches. If this was a normally colored villosum, I'd expect many more flowers for this size plant.....
