Patience is a virtue they say....it was worth the wait. The bloom is HUGE next to a "regular" paph for comparison.

Great colors but 7 years, you would think the cross would of been named by now. Congratulations on blooming it. these types of crosses can be tough

My Phrag. Allison Strohm is itching to bloom right now, after seven years.

That is real nice. Like the colour. Seven years isn't too bad. Did it take a long time because it is a slow grower or that it needed to form a large clump or that it is just difficult to flower?

I think it needed more than a single growth and it is a slow grower.....my hubby said it looked like I was growing a cabbage plant .:D
I also changed it's location...I brought it into my sunroom which gets a lower winter temp drop. That might have been the secret......
