The wardii is a dark variety.
The helenae has been open for a few weeks now--The flower was pale yellow at first, then it changed to golden yellow after 10 days. This particular clone sometimes may not have the white edge on the dorsal, and what caused that? I have no clue.

Beautiful! Any idea what affects color saturation? I'm on the hunt for a helenae but I want a bright one that isn't wonky, like yours.
@color, it is nothing special culture-wise, so most likely it's inherited the color from the parents...
Plant came from Rob(Littlefrog)a few years ago, check with him and see if he still has some.

Here is a photo of 2022 blooming, as you can see it didn't have the white edge.
