I got a division of this in trade from Jim. The blooms are getting nicer as it adjusts to my culture. Jim still blooms it better, though.

Yeah, Jim has an awesome cultivar from that cross. Looks a ton like WC, but is way more compact in plant size and I see it all year long at shows with a flower and a bud. Never seen both open at once though?

I'm not very keen on these type of complex hybrids; but, the round dorsal and round petals are very eye catching. This is one I wouldn't mind having in my collection. It's very nice! Although, like goldenrose and e-spice, I would've never guessed that it had chamberlainianum as a direct parent.

It is an amazing outcome from this cross. I see evidence of spotting in the pouch and that super round dorsal without the wavy edges could be coming from victoria reginae.
