Well flowered Christoph. Do these grow easily for you? I really struggle with both this and micranthum, and am trying to figure out what I am missing in my culture of them.

I think I am getting better in growing them.
I have now all in basket. Same soil mix and they develope better and better.

No calcium anymore in the soil for armeniacum, have the feeling that old potting mix and rotten stuff is needed, and a week fertilizer, as they dont grow with advanced formulation. The cheapest one with micro nutrient from the plant store show the best result, and they like amino acid spraying at least I have the feeling.

And the main thing basket.

I showed this pic of my new growing of 2 plants, after moving the last once out of pot, they started to grow now all you can really see it.

I lost my great one, as I let it in pot, a weak one I put in a basket and now 6 m,onth later a stalone is comming out of the other side and is growing fast, 10cm from the main plant away. and this plant had not one root left.

I moved now all markii ( alba ) in baskets too, as one had nearly no roots lets see and wait, and one of them moved as first 1 year ago, has already 2 new growth, this is like growing turbo for this kind, I am really happy with that growth.

Micranthum not all moved now, but they like it more wet, so this is why they ding fine in pots. All is only my feeling about that...

Nice! I have all of mine in baskets as well. Two were almost gone, we'll see if they make it back. My biggest has two spikes.

Agreed!! I had my mics and aremens in a course mix and they did nothing all summer  So I put them all in a fine mix (when I say fine I mean 3 to 5mm max) of partly decomposed coconut and a bit of very fine bark with a touch of fine perlite. They started to put new roots out quickly! I also am keeping them very moist to wet with no drying out. I wish I started this in spring!! And yes no lime and very weak feed..agree with everything you say C

Thanks for the cultural observations. I aim to move all my remaining parvis next weekend to baskets. A bit late in the season, but better late than never, as they are all doing really sh#*ly in pots.

I potted on in my rest bark so under 2mm in a basket with spagh around, this one the flower spike is growing 2 times faster then others.
Oh by the way main different in my feeling between the both.
Armeniacum need a lot of light micranthum dont want to much.
Eburneum tolerates the same amount as armeniacum but no flower even when they have 6 growth now.
And of course you need a lot of them to have every year at least one flower.

Here are 2 pic of a few of my basket the big one is the new basket for the flowering plant, moved it in that 2 years ago.

Moved in 3 growth now it is 8 and it is getting fast more of them.
The small one is a basket I use for some of my plants.

I think you have too many! You know what to do.....

You never can have to many.

Few weeks ago I bought again a few plants, but I think they where collected.
'Seedlings which are true are very rare.
By the way this is the mother of my seedlings. I only got 4 seedlings we had only 2 flasks, as armeniacums are really bad in producing vital seed.
I have only 3 seedlings left one was ahnded over to a friend already.

And 2 armeniacums of the new pruchase was given to another person too. ;)

Christoph, so that large basket is a single plant with stolens? About a month ago or maybe two I put one with a few growths in a basket and we shall see how it does. I'm having a hard time figuring out when to water it. How often do you water that big basket?

Bob the same as the other plants it is a little dryer.

One growth of it is a fumis send to me from a very good friend, as it nearly past away and it was a trial to save it
3 growth are on the side of the basket already
The one in the middle is the growth which bloomed 3 years ago

How many armeniacum in total do you have Dido? Do you have the other varieties?

I started to calculate
I have 3 clones ( means different pots) of this one so its starts
Then I stopped at 20 others to count :D

From the markii I have only 4 but not one flowered till now,

And then I have a lot of crosses with both kinds....
