Paphiopedilum charlesworthii

Wish this was mine, but I photographed this in the collection of Helmut Sang during a recent trip to Essen, Germany. For those unaware, Helmut was the discoverer of Paphiopedilum sangii. He has a phenomenal collection..not huge but many choice plants. I will post more from his collection over the next little while.

These are kind of different charlesworthii's .

Do you know if they are collected of line bred?

I agree Rick. They look a little different. I haven't seen the lighter colors and white in the dorsal before.

Different, for sure.

quite a pale pouch and petals.
I think I prefer the dark contrast with the pink.
