Absolutely thrilled to learn that my Paphiopedilum haynaldianum album was awarded a Cultural Certificate by the Royal Horticultural Society Orchid Committee at their meeting at Burnham Nurseries in sunny Newton Abbot, Devon this weekend.

Now know as Paphiopedilum haynaldianum album 'Jeannie' CCC/RHS, my mum (Jean) was very happy to have an orchid named after her!

Stunning well grown plant and high quality photograph! Congrats!
What confuses me, is that i have never seen a normal haynaldianum with such a shape. Neither the normal type nor the laurae type are looking like that. But what comes to my mind when i first see the plant is Tony Semple. I know its annoying when somebody doubts the tag, but thats my impression.

It looks like haynaldianum to me. A closeup pic of the staminode would help.
