Paphiopedilum Magic Lantern

My first Magic Lantern to flower.
Although petals are all ruffly, I am happy with this.
There was a second bud developing, but it dried up. Oh, well...

I have many and this one has particularly pretty leaves with lots of silvery part whereas others have mostly dark green leaves with a little bit of sliver dots here and there.

Yes, it is!
I picked it because I was so drawn by the silvery leaves, and while I knew it was a blooming size, I was very excited to see it spike last month.
Yay!

I will try. It is sort of like your Armeni White leaves. More silver part than green, which I just love!!!

I have some LT ( I love this cross) and one of them might flower this summer. will see.

I have lots of Magic Lantern from flask, so in the future when they get a little bigger, I will post here.

I don't like it when the pouch sags down too low as in many micranthum and certain Magic Lantern. lol
