Paphiopedilum niveum that blooms on and off the whole year. Sorry for the crappy photo. Not easy to take one with the spikes flopping around

I think it’s just age. It blooms on and off all year. But this blooming is by far the best. I fertilize very little and use Toronto tap water. I think there’s something in it that brachys love.

10 years at least. Initially potted in fir bark but I’m sure it’s more roots now than media

Yes I repotted it when I got it. It was a small single growth seedling

I think one of the reasons it works for me is that I fertilize very very very lightly
