I'm actually not fond of most P. parishii hybrids, though I adore P. parishii itself. However, I think this is a hybrid that works well for my taste, and the fact that it's a very uncommon hybrid adds to the appeal. The flowers look like they have some size on them and the long, pendant, and dark petals are pretty spectacular.

I wonder if this would be difficult to bloom in certain climates?

Very attractive hybrid. Looks to have retained all the strong characteristics of the parishii. With the extra size from the roth must be impressive.

The lateral petals are 16 cm long. Flowering did not pose any problems.

These flowers look quite nice ....and as fare as I can see there are only few diferences to P. parishii, maybe in colouration and the bigger and more elongated pouch. Like I said, it's quite nice, but if I had to choose between this hybrid and the original, I would choose the original P. parishii
