I lost the name cross (But I continue to search...). Now, it has a new name.
I like round dorsal but the dorsal in flames form have really charm too.
The color petals is very interesting too. And 25cms for a first bloom, it's a good one.
I keep it!:D

Nice roth. 'Hell Flames' adds spice to the growing area! I have one blooming now with the flame look too.

The color flower is realistic, at least on my screen.

I don't see really the magenta problem. Maybe is it from your seeting of your computer screen?

All my rothschildianums bloomed at this time have a new growth. For some of them, it's very small (just some centimeters) and for others, it's bigger (beetween 10 to 20cms leafspan)

Now, I have to be vigilant because plants with small new growths have regulary problems to grow well after blooming season.
But all those grosses are vigorous and I think it will be ok.

Look at the lightest area of the dorsal. Is it really that magenta/pink color?
My monitor is calibrated. It tends to intensify primary colors, but the color is accurate.

I'll look at this evening but I think you're right. I see now the light magenta in the white color and I don't think the dorsal is like that.
