Did tigrinum become markianum?

If you follow Dr. Braem, it always should have been markianum. I think, he argues, that this species was published earlier and validly as markianum, and thus this name has priority over tigrinum. I'm not quite sure, that many follows him in this respect, though.

Even then, I think his arguments in this case is more sound than his somewhat postulated case for P. crossii being the rightfull name for the species now labeled P. callosum. The latter case seems to have been a bone of contention between Dr. Braem and Cribb in different editions of their publications over decades!
