I've had this for a little over two years. Last year's growth was small and the flower was OK, but this year the growth is about 4x with lots of buds. The flowers has a spread of 11.5 cm.

I purchased this from a Michigan vendor at a show in South Bend, Indiana. I believe he got it from a grower in Hawaii. He had several small plants in bud, but this one had the darkest color. I've had several of these from different sources, but this one is the best. One had petals that were just too twisted and I discarded it. Another has flowers the color of Pepto Bismol and is just slightly twisted. I'm hoping to see some branching when they get larger. They seem to reliable bloomers. I give them a lot of light and night temps that frequently drop into the upper 50s.

Thanks Mike. Mine came from Orchid Inn. Hopefully it blooms soon. Mine is in s/h? What potting media do you use?
