Actually your cross will be better than Apollo because dalessandroi branches and blooms successively.

The first flower is still going. It's been almost a month since it opened. It has reflexed somewhat but it has lasted twice as long as I remember it lasting in previous years. I don't know if it's because I've been growing it cooler, or the plant is just stronger.
