Suppose to be 2 different clones, 'Bloodbath' and 'Chariots of Fire'. There are less flowers thant last year. I think I have grown them in a too shady area last summer.

Very Very Nice!! How do you grow them?

They are the easiest orchids to grow for me. They grow in ProMix (mostly peat moss and perlite). I keep them moist all the year, even wet in summer. Fertilizer: osmocot or nutricot (the one I buy for the plant in pots outdoors). I also add liquid fertilizer I use for my other orchids at almost each waterings.

Temperature: They are resilient plants. They like warm summer temps (32 C) and cooler in winter ( min 12).

They can grow in a very bright location. From 2009 to the end of 2012 they were at 4 ft from a 1000W HPS. But since they became large plants I decided to move them under 8 4ft T12 bulbs. They are now in the living room.

The only problem is that mealies realy love those plants. Fortunatly the plant is suitable for raising a mealybug eater, the Crypto bug!
