Could you share your cultural practices with this plant? I really want to try one, but am afraid I'll kill it like so many other phrags that I have had.

I've killed more besseae than you can imagine. I think not too much light and keeping roots cool are essential.

Pretty much what Eric said. I was growing mine too bright, but thanks to a comment Tom Kalina made awhile back, my besseaes are doing better. Besides that, I'm growing them like the rest of my Phrags: Water 2x a week in the colder months, and 3x a week when the weather turns hot.
