Phrag. caudatum and Phrag. Stairway to Heaven are thinking about blooming a

A couple more of my Phragmipedium are going to bloom. They sit in my east facing kitchen window. I thought this was an interesting way to depict bud formation in phrags. The first caudatum and the second is a caudatum hybrid, Stairway to Heaven

Those are great photos. You can really see the bud forming. Are you tempted to measure it every day? I like to put my in-spike and blooming paphs in an east window over the kitchen sink. The light passing through the petals really sets of the color and makes them sparkle. Doesn't make for the best flower pics though, unlike your bud photos.
