I just keep potting it deeper when I repot it.

Yes, except that before that happens, I divide it.

Mine didn't the first year, either. But as it began really putting out new growths, these began to climb. Maybe you'll be lucky and not have this habit.

I got it a few years ago, it was several growths although March of this year was the first blooming, had 3 spikes. It's up to about 15 growths in a 5" pot & staying rather clumpy, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I like the "depth" of the lip - just a trick of the eye, I wonder. Phrags growing like weeds, hmm, all I've ever done with them is kill them!
