In bloom today. From a judging standpoint, it would never win an award because of it's narrow petals, but as far as we can tell it is a true (undiluted by besseae) Phrag. d'alessandroi.

We were able to get 30-40 seedlings when we selfed this clone, but they are only in compot w 2" leaf spans. They should be ready for sale by the 2016 (OMG!) Michigan Orchid Society show in Madison Heights over Palm Sunday weekend.
 
This is very lovely! I like the the sickle-like shape of the petals a lot!
 
Beautiful, Tom! I LOVE 'classic form' flowers. I will be watching for their release. :)
 
If that cannot be a recipient of an award because of the petal shape, then it suggests the judges need to be replaced. Dalessandroi to my way of thinking shouldn't have big fat wide petals. This specimen looks superb.
