Before I clicked, I didn't think I was going to like it much. But, seeing the photo, I've changed my mind. Neat flower and interesting, delicate coloration. It's hard to guage from the photo, but it also looks like a fairly compact plant, which is also a big plus.

I agree. The colors are very delicate, and the twisty petals are nice.
 
How confident are you on the ID of this plant Russell? I would expect longer petals with these parents.

I thought the petals would of been longer also. I made the cross( Jean-Pierre actually registered it as he had made it also and flowered it) and Grande was the pod parent. I think the next time it flowers the petals will be longer.

It is compact plant and flowered close to stem coming out like its pollen parent boissierianum
 
Is this the first to bloom out of the cross? Others (long petaled ones) will probably take longer to flower. The best is yet to come!
