Again this one isn't mine and has some slight damage on the petal but the form is very nice, i have a small sibling from this batch thought.

No, you are not the only one :). To me it looks more like a like a backcross to besseae.

The one that we bloomed had a much heavier "kovachii" influence:

Instead of Haley Decker x kovachii (= Papa Frankie Quintal), it looks more like Phrag. Haley Decker x besseae (= Kyle Quintal). Are you sure it has the right tag?

Unless he got a mislabelled plant that's what the tag reads. I agree, very heavy besseae influence if so.
