I bought this phrag from Manolo Arias some years ago. This second bloom took more than 3 years even if it is a big plant. I like the mustache.d1ffc7a95de4795ec3989a69c894bec4.jpg239ddc0f32b96f87a7283b3b6e949e5d.jpg9399cbc136702f49f475fccaf5624eb2.jpgfb312965f343126869c934f6ae8dc597.jpg

Very interesting timing on this: My pearcei is outside currently enjoying the shady, wet weather. I'm sitting here perusing Slippertalk, and noticed a hummingbird out of my peripheral vision, so I turned to look. It was attempting to feed from the P. pearcei flowers -- seemingly ignoring to the bright red aloe flowers right next to it. Odd, huh?

One of my favorite Phrags. I have three and love them
all. This one is very pretty.

After observing hummingbirds for years at our feeders, I've come to the conclusion that they investigate everything. I've seen them at our suet feeders. Who'd
thunk it?

Interesting flower but doesn’t look like pearcei to me…
Dorsal, petals, staminode, pattern in the labellum are so different…

It is a very nice and very well grown pearcei. Please save a small piece for me when you repot it. Love the red tones of this one. I do have similar clones from Perú but none of them so nice.
