Phrag schlimii

This Phrag was collected in the wild by a friend.
Recently we visited the place to see how this Phrag lives in situ. All plants were growing over rocks receiving lots of pure water.

Beautiful. Is that some sort of moss that they are growing in on the rock substrate?

It appears it's growing on rock that is washed with
rain on a regular basis. I assume the drainage is
excellent. Are the roots growing into the moss?

The roots are heavely attached into cracks. This rock is in the middle of a creek. The plants receive lots of water, some time flooded.

Nice one! There are lots of seedpods on the plants. That's nice to see.

Yes, it is moss over the rock

Not, I didnt. I didnt collect any schlimii, the population is very limited.

Maybe grab a mature seedpod and go dancing through the forest, spreading seed
