Yes they are very twisted and I was wondering what makes them so twisted. It's kind of cool and dry in my house. Is the lack of humidity responsible for twisting or is it based on genetic of the plant?

Twisting is a good thing and no, low humidity would not increase twisting. It would dry the flowers out and shorten their live.
