An old favourite of mine from a division of the parent plant. Turned out a little smaller and with a bit less colour than I expected.

When you say 'warm' - what do you mean? I plan to get one of these (or anything close to it, depending what the nurseries offer) and my coldest temps are around 21ºC in summer. Does this mean Sedenii would refuse to bloom?
Thanks!

Not at all. It's just that, with Phrags, cooler temperatures make darker, more intense flower color.

Certainly not. Phrags are very adaptable so you will have no problems growing them. Just make sure they are not kept damp but kept wet And go easy on the fert. Phrag are not heavy feeders and will show leaf tip burn if too much fertilizer is applied. I only feed mine twice per year on a teaspoonful of fish, blood and bone sprinkled on the top. So don't worry if you keep your phrags wet they will reward you with excellent growth.

Thanks! I have a Eric Young spiking right now; first time for me and first time for the plant, all looks very tiny and green - Mem. Dick Clements had a much stronger and purple spike, but that is sargentianum influence, I think. I expected much more reddish pigmentation in the whole growth, lets see if the summer temperatures really fade the colour out of it! It is watered nearly every day and sits in water also, lots of new roots and no brown leaf tips, a big new fan growing, so I think the plant feels happy.
And as soon as I can get the next Phrag, I'll do! I like fast growing plants.
