About the perfume: no, it doesn't stink.... The name is for the ressemblance to some Stapelias. Not olfactory IMO

Sorry Eric... Forgot to answer about the tips...

They are grown under lights in the basement in winter, along with Masdies. Nights are cool (10 C I would say) and highs near 20 C. High HR (I try to give them 80 % in winter)

In summer they are grown in a gazebo, in the shade. Summer is quite cool. Nights are usually under 16 C, often near 10 C.

A friend grows this species in New Orleans, so it can stand warmer temps as well.
