What are those hairs on the staminode (?) for?
Or is it the stigma and the hairs serve to collect pollens easily??

What are those hairs???

It is believed the staminode shield which is elongated and covered in hairs mimics a colony of aphids on a plant stem. Syrphid flies, whose larvae eat aphids, lay their eggs on the stam. shield and then fall into the pouch. I'm sure you're familiar with what happens after that.
 
Now that is impressive!!! Whats the leafspan? What happens after the syrphid flies eggs fall in the pouch?
