For those that enjoy these hybrids. The colours are actually close to the real ones, so very colorful.

Just to give an impression of the size

enjoy;)

I like the dorsal color and pattern! The overall shape isn't to bad. Are the petals going to get longer?
Not much longer, seems to get 4-5 flowers. Here is a picture from last time it flowered, December 2011. These pictures are taken in natural light so colors are better.Aspect is a bit strange, from above.

Perhaps somewhat better? As you see, the flowers are not very well distributed, the influence of the coclopetalum is clearly seen.

That kinda looks like argh, I forget the fellow who has the picture from a 1930's book cover. Shows an evil plant - a paph of course - and several small impish creatures bedeviling a greenhouse. Or was it poster art? Anyway, this is the paph!

A strange reptile! I like it!
Agree that is what it looks like!:p

ruffled look ,beautiful and strange.
congrats,anna
Yes, reptile is the word!;)
Oooooo...I love it! I really like the pic with your hand for size reference.
Was it my hand or :rollhappy:

It definitely has something...

Agree with all of you it is very special, and the colors are truly amazing. It was a bit more colorful this year as opposed to last time this is due to a somewhat colder winter (I have turned down the temp a bit) which also explains the 2 months delayed flowering (it is 14 Months since last time). The picture below was taken last night using flash.
