Manolo Arias is coming over to Europe in October and I've taken the plunge and ordered a flask of seven seedlings of (kovachii x besseae) x kovachii.
Has anyone any tips on dealing with these seedlings beyond the usual needs for young plants? Anyone bought Phrag seedlings from Manolo?
Thanks

Dvid

I have never bought from Manolo Arias, but for all my kovachii hybrids I heavily top dress the pots with calcium sand or crushed oyster shells. They seem to do much better with it.

In conjunction with fertilizer that has Cal/Mag in it, or to supplement because of lack of Cal / Mag?
Thanks
Jake

I have 7 of Manolo's flasks purchased in May. All except 1 are Kovachii hybrids . They are in cool pots with traditional mix under led grow lights. They are doing very well with almost no mortality. I repotted the Kovachii species over the weekend and counted over 30 seedlings from 1 flask. I use Rays products such as inocucor kelpmax and k-lite and the seedlings seem to love them.
