Does anyone know if this is compatible with digital phone service (ex Verizon Fios)?

I think I might try that out.Have you had any issues with it yet?

nope...pretty good so far. cheaper on amazon...with some comments about issues, etc. all the issues seem related to people expecting to get more out of this than it's advertised to do. i don't think it's as bulletproof as a sensaphone but it's also way way less expensive. i only need alarms when too hot or cold, not all the bells and whistles of a sensaphone. That being said, if I had a hardline phone I'd get a sensaphone, but I don't. so this is the best bet. all the cell-dialers were a couple hundred bucks + full cost for a cell line + cost for a monitoring service.

Sensaphones merely need a dial tone...

One major advantage of them is the ability to notify you if you're not nearby. The other device sounds an alarm in your home. What if you're out shopping or at work?

I was on the phone with Sensaphone today and thats how I found out they wont work with the fios.I only called because when I switched service I had to get a new fax, because it wasnt compatible. If anyone out there has it working with Fios let me know.

that thing i listed is not a house alarm...you connect part of it to your internet router and through a website it calls you / texts you if temps are off. obviously only a house alarm would be worthless here in MA...
