May I ask where did you find your Shin-Yi Surprise? When I was looking, I only found the one offered by orchidinn.

It might take awhile. Under my basement conditions, my multis only grow six months per year and sulk during winter....a lot! My Genevieve Booth that flowered last summer, is only now making a new growth...

They are phototropic, they will tilt towards the light, also when my plants bloom I take pictures then cut the spike and put it in water right away, they stay good in bloom for a long time & it reduces stress on the plant
