Tyrone, yes it is its first flowering, and it is quite a small plant (which is one of the bonus features of the plant, in that you get a kolo look-alike on a much smaller plant) It will be in my collection for the next year while the pod matures. I bought it against my better judgement, (St Swithin is not a good breeder IMO) I like the three species, but perhaps I should have bought a cross of Bel Royal x phili instead?

I agree with you Gary. Unfortunately way too much kolo influence. It is hard to see any roth or phillipinense in this. Well none of the best bits anyway. Given it is a secondary hybrid you will see a fair amount of variation so I wouldn't write the cross off. But it is a lucky dip and you got the least desirable outcome.
