it's registered as Dragon's Light, the horns are just flames from the dragon's mouth! oke:

Does it have any other buds? I'd be willing to give it a 2nd shot, but I would not be very optimistic...deformities like this in paphs tend to repeat regularly, I would expect the same with phrags.

I've had phrags that have been horny on their first bloom & been fine the next time, as well as the next bud.

I'd do what the others have said: give it another one or two flowering chances to improve itself! It may very well do so.

Alternately, you could sponsor a new type of orchid collecting craze such as Good Orchids Gone Bad, Sinsational Slippers, Philthy Phrags or maybe Orchids of the Underworld

were any chemicals used on it the last few months? I wonder if some phrags have a sensitivity to a chemical or even what is considered a natural substance & we're not aware.
Last summer I had several niveums bloom with a horn, one might of had 2, Tom K. asked if i used neem & suspects that might of been the cause, only time will tell!
