Last month or so, I posted some pictures of my phal lindenii from hoosier orchids. Since then, my two other adult lindeniis have come into flower. The first one is about out of flower, so I've grouped the three together for comparison.
The one on the left is the one I posted last month, the middle one is from carter and holmes that has 'mendenhall' as one of it's parents, and the one on the right is from sorella orchids in oregon

one of the foibles of growing plants in a plastic-enclosed cart with lighting, is that there is a lot of reflected light. it was brought to my attention that often phalaenopsis flower spikes will grow towards reflected light for some reason. the three plants are in the same end of one of my growing carts with overhead fluorescent lighting, and two of the plants put out spikes that bent backwards away from the lights but towards the reflections of the lights off of the plastic! (crazy plants...) if you are looking for culture and ribbon awards at orchid shows, you will have to contend with this issue. the middle plant here has the nicest flowers, but the spike did a 180 turn and is growing along the side of the cork mount which is great for presentation
