Super, Mike!!! Really something These guys are too rarely seen, due to difficulties in cultivation and propagation. And I have been told that their habitat is submerged by now.:sob:
I have several of its kind, but only flowered it once. But then the flower lasted several months:

Thanks Bjorn. I have 4 clones too but the others are still small. This plant is probably the easiest Paph to grow for me. The same as insigne. But I kept it outside all winter and dry with wind but overhead protection. Probably because you need to keep it in a heated area in winter you have problems. For me it's a weed

Fantastic species, one of my favourite. My great sorrow of mine, I have this guy for 5 years, it is in bud every year but always blasted till this time. Now it is in sheath again.

You have to keep it cold (5-20C night/day) and dry (almost) until the flower opens. The blasting is caused by too much heat and moisture.....The plant wants to grow intead of flower.

This one experienced several nights down to 3C. The average was about
7C. They will take 0C if they are realy dry but I think I prefer a bit higher than that. I gathered all this info from Dendrobium nobile which I've grown for years and which grows on the same trees in Myanmar.
