Omg this is incredible! This just opened today. A nice one from a flask I got from Holger Perner around 4 years ago. View attachment 17850
I grow mine in baskets. They are in Community pot/ basket for six months and then individually potted on. I let them almost dry out before watering. The temps are minimum 16 celsius and maximum 28 degrees. once they get established they grow like weeds. I think the key is that you need to allow them to establish a good root system in the flask before deflasking. Flask suppliers used to sell them too early but they have got better As Ray said above Holger Perner set the benchmark for tigrinum flasks and others have followedExcellent quality! I have a flask from Austin Creek deflasked this past September. Root production seems very slow - basically rootless out of flask but no losses maybe thanks to the Inocucor product.
Your thoughts / experience with this species from flask would be great! - Paul x
