Love the petal coloration and pattern. How many from the flask grew on for you?

Thanks, all of them grew out for me. I seem to have good luck with these. I have a flask from Sam that was deflasked a year ago and I have only lost 1 in this time

Holger and tigrinum helped put Inocucor on the map for orchids.

Through years of work, Holger found a 4 or 5 stage flasking process that brought his survival-to-maturity rate up to about 15%. He got hold of some Garden Solution from the former VP of Sales for Inocucor (who was a paph species specialist), and it immediately jumped to over 85%.

Is the notched lateral a “problem” for judging?

The dorsal is enlarging and flattening out. I will update photo later today.

Excellent quality! I have a flask from Austin Creek deflasked this past September. Root production seems very slow - basically rootless out of flask but no losses maybe thanks to the Inocucor product.

Your thoughts / experience with this species from flask would be great! - Paul x

I grow mine in baskets. They are in Community pot/ basket for six months and then individually potted on. I let them almost dry out before watering. The temps are minimum 16 celsius and maximum 28 degrees. once they get established they grow like weeds. I think the key is that you need to allow them to establish a good root system in the flask before deflasking. Flask suppliers used to sell them too early but they have got better As Ray said above Holger Perner set the benchmark for tigrinum flasks and others have followed

I have two extraction fans and have been using a wet wall so that helps. I am moving to Perth soon and taking all my plants with me so will definitely need the wet wall there.
