The Illinois Orchid Society will present its annual Spring Show, Cascade of Orchids, March 20 & 21 at Chicago Botanic Garden, Glencoe, Illinois. We have 15 orchid vendors confirmed already, and a nice array of vendors selling pots and other orchid-related objects. We will have our repotting service available, featuring our newly reformulated IOS potting mix.
Speakers/demonstrations over the weekend are scheduled:
Hermann Pigors, Oak Hill Gardens, Saturday, 1:00pm -- How to get more flowers to last longer on your orchids.
Ecuagenera Nursery, Saturday, 2:00pm Orchids of Ecuador
Robert Younghale, B&H Orchids, Sunday, 1:00pm Phalaenopsis culture under lights
Joy Sloup, Shuphattra's Clay Flowers, Sunday, 2:00pm Creating orchid flowers with clay.
Raffle, Door Prizes!!!
