Not the greatest looking flower, but what is unusual is the tiny size, given the parents. Barbi's White Satin = barbigerum x White Knight, so perhaps the barbigerum influenced the size on this seedling, even though the Barbi's White Satin is larger. I plan to grow this one on to see if it stays small and to see if the flower improves.

By itself

WOW! Ross, that's a mini mini!! How very cool! Really has possibilities! I like the overall shape, cute spots and the dorsal!

Very Nice Ross!!
How long did it take from flask to bloom? Could have a lot of possibilities for tea cup Paphs. It looks like a good example for one!!

ugly pubescent lip (not for the hairs but for the pimples) but adorable tiny little plant.. hopefully the pimple issues will disappear when mature... I would not mind having it :)

Wow Ross, you are really getting there in the quest for miniature tea cup Paphs. I hope time shows this one is a true dwarf vegetatively. The freakiness of the flower is disturbing. Hopefully it is a one time occurance. Your (Harbour x Little Henry) also looks a little freaky. Perhaps some of the miniaturization is the result of aneuploidy, which would explain the freaky flowers. I know you are looking for genetically stable true dwarfs. I applaud this idea as a direction in Paph hybridization. Totally cool.

About 3 1/2 years from flasking to bloom. I've been purchasing stock, growing out flasks, and making crosses with the goal of making smaller Paphs since 2001. My first crosses were made in 2003.

Nice direction Ross. The plant itself looks yellowed/stressed if so, a deformed flower can also be the result. Keep chugg'in along!

(PS. Eric, behave)
