An old hybrid, but it still carries some appeal for me. It has put on a bit of extra growth this summer, so I am hoping for a better flowering next year. This year the flowers are a bit bunched (more so than last year), but 3 blooms and a 4th still to open. It has quite a marked semi-sequential nature, I don't think the first bloom will still be on the plant by the last bloom opening.

The flowers are awesome but... look at those shiny leaves!!! Excellent plant :clap::clap:

This is one of the cream of the crop flowers here. I've had a number of Vanguards and Transvaals and all were down right dogs. Two flowered, serious reflexing of the dorsals and reluctent to bloom. Basically, a waste of bench space. For reasons above is why I stay away from this type of primary. With that said I do have 3 plants of this type of breeding! LOL. But they were all given to me and only one, the Transvaal is on the doggy side.

Great job! One of my favourites and this is exceptional!
