I don’t know that it will open anymore…Two days ago exhaust fan failed to turn on and GH temps got in the mid 90’s. Flower was wilted and had it not been staked it would have been laying down.
Anyway, staminode looks out of focus…but it isn’t.

Thank you, nice, but looks like mine....not straight sp., i think.

The strangely full and round petals are what leaves me wonder about its true identity. It just screams HCM somewhere in it.
It is very pretty, though!

Very nice vietnamense...I can see that there are doubts that it is a true vietnamense, and thats of course a matter of opinion, but I have seen this type of vietnamense from Popow, "senior" Popow, Boscha few paintings, and in "switch" I got some very nice Paphios, s state of opinionadly at that time there were very little info about habitat and growing conditions so it died for me, luckily it is easier now as there has been propagated many plants now that also is easier than collected plants, which I of course is against, especially the people who collect hundreds of plants and sell them per kilo, not per plant, and I have heard from growers that have got these plants that they are in a miserable state or even mostly dead, and this is not collecting for need, this is for greed, a very sad state of opinion/business, but nevertheless its a nice vietnamense, looking really close to the "dark" type Boscha had back then:)
