I got this one from Alfredo Manrique (kovachii Ana x besseae) 3 years ago. First bloom but it is going to have three flowers this year (one spike)... not bad!
I am a little bit dissapointed because the shape is not that good but the color seems to me good enough to keep it in my collection.

Funny, I have another one from Alfredo, that I received one year ago. So far mine is darker but since it is still growing, one might expect it to fade a bit. I believe this one gets three flowers as well.

The dorsal is quite good for a kovachii hybrid, both the colour and the habit. Overall colour ist great, and the petals might improve on later bloomings. I'd certainly stick to that one, very nice.

Keep in mind, it can take 3-4 years for kovachii to become really mature & then you'll see the best that plant can offer.
It's a keeper to me, as well as Bjorn's!
